AIRCARDIO (Innovative approach for congenital cardiopathy) is a project co-financed by POR FESR Toscana 2014-2020 – Strategic research and development projects. The project’s commitment is to create an innovative telemonitoring system to be used in the post hospitalization treatment of congenital neonatal/pediatric heart disease. The final result will be an innovative tool for the remote monitoring of the young patient’s vital parameters from home.
IngeniArs deals with the development of the smart-hub concentrator, the integration of medical sensors and the management of acquisition flows, processing and transmission of clinical data. In addition, the company will take part in the definition of the clinical trial protocol. At the end of the project, the smart-hub system will be certified as a medical device. The participation in the project will enable IngeniArs to consolidate its know-how and to strengthen its position in the telemedicine sector, as well as improve its product line based on the E@syCare technology.
